Tuesday 6th March

Two days of blue skies and sunshine sadly had to come to an end, as we were unfortunately faced with sleet, snow and soggy conditions today. However, the kids were resolute and didn't let the weather dampen their enthusiasm, high spirits or the fantastic progress they're making with their skiing.

The returner group practiced drills to hone their technique under the watchful eye of their brilliant instructor Stefano, whilst both of our beginner groups came on leaps and bounds and are expected to pick up their poles tomorrow!

Some mid-trip questions:
  • Who managed to do their first parallel turn stop whilst they only had one ski - impressively within eyeshot of their instructor and two members of staff?
  • Who managed to turn a fall into a stuntman-esque cartwheel back onto their skis?
  • Who were the most majestic skaters at the roller disco?

  15. Single ski parallel stop - no idea who that is but 'much respect!' As for the stuntsman fall and return to skis we think that has the potential to be 'La vache.' The question back to you Miss Wheeler is 'qui est la vache?' Thanks for all the great photos. Bon ski everyone and much love to Harvey from Mum, Dad & Morgan xxx
